At the time of the album's release, the cover was originally the so-called "Butcher Cover," which featured the members in white coats holding dismembered baby dolls and meat, photographed by Robert Whitaker. However, complaints about the grotesque jacket design poured in from Capitol Records salesmen and record stores just before the release, and the album was urgently recalled and changed to the "Trunk Cover" that was originally planned. However, in some cases, the "Butcher Cover" was covered with the "Trunk Cover" and shipped as an emergency measure. The original "Butcher Cover," which was not recalled in time and was distributed in very small numbers, became a highly valuable collector's item, and the "Peel Cover," which carefully peeled off the attached cover, is also currently traded at high prices.
